a−2+3=−2
Step 1: Simplify both sides of the equation.
a−2+3=−2
a+−2+3=−2
(a)+(−2+3)=−2(Combine Like Terms)
a+1=−2
a+1=−2
Step 2: Subtract 1 from both sides.
a+1−1=−2−1
a=−3
Answer:
a=−3
