40°C is 104°F.

The formula for Celsius to Fahrenheit is: T(°F) = T(°C) * 1.8 + 32

So in order to convert 40°C to °F we would do: T(°F) = 40°C * 9/5 + 32 = 104. °F

40*1.8 = 72
72+ 42 = 104 °F

the equation is F = c*1.8 + 32
