ax^2+bx+c=0\\\\x_1\cdot x_2=(c)/(a)

We have:

8x^2-2x=1\ \ \ |-1\\\\8x^2-2x-1=0\\\\a=8;\ b=-2;\ c=-1\\\\x_1\cdot x_2=(-1)/(8)=-(1)/(8)
