y=mx+b

so m is the slope that is -7 in the equation y=−7x+4

To find y-intercept, let x = 0

y=−7(0)+4=4

(0, 4) is the y-intercept

Answer:-7, y-intercept (0, 4)

Hope this helps!

The general form of a line is y = mx + b. (m = slope, b = y-intercept)

So if we compare the line you've been given with the general form, you'll find that:

y = mx + b

y = 7x - 4

m = 7 and b = -4, therefore your slope is 7 and your y-intercept is -4. :)
