These equations are set up perfe try to use the elimination method. You can tell me one variable(y) has the same coefficient making it easy to eliminate.
-4x + 3y = 12
-(-2x + 3y = 12)
___________
-2x = 0
Thus x = 0.
You can now use this value to input into an original equation to solve for the second variable.
-2(0) + 3y = 12
3y = 12
y = 4.
Hope this helps! :)
