Answer: I have watched several different informational speeches online that have been inspirational, demonstrations, or informational. One of the more effective informational speeches I have watched was based on creating hand-sewn stuffed animals. The information given was concise and informative and followed a step-by-step process that was easy to understand, paced well, and easy to replicate on my own. I think the delivery would have benefitted from providing the steps visually in addition to their speech. The visual aids were also helpful but often were not always available during the appropriate steps. The presentation was effective and interesting enough to motivate me to make my own sewn animals using their process, which was very enjoyable and successful.

An informational speech/lecture I have heard in the past was on: "How to Stretch to Get Your Splits" Personally, I felt that this speech was merely somewhat effective. The speaker did well on incorporating presentation aides into the speech, for she demonstrated the stretches herself. The speaker could have improved on the presentation of the material itself, for she read directly from the slides. This action hindered the effectiveness pf her speech, for it caused the audience to meddle in a state of boredom.
