How do I translate twice r plus 7 is equal to 45 minus r into an equation?

in this question, we have to translate twice r plus 7 is equal to 45 minus r into an equation.

Twice of r means double of r that is 2r.

So we have to add 2r and 7 and that is equal to the difference of 45 and r, that is


2r+7 = 45-r

And that's the required equation .
