It’s important for a scientist to be open-minded because they need to be able to understand or creative anything that was never thought about. It’s also important for a scientist to be skeptical because some ideas or products that they hear about can have false factors. I hope this helped!

Your answer: Scientist need to gather information that is based on direct observation rather than opinion or feelings.

As a scientist, it would be very important for her or him to be very skeptical. And for that reason, they would have to be opened minded, because, for whatever they are studying, or getting a look at, they would have to understand that it would not be 'easily convinced'.

Like for example, if you were to grab a thermal bottle. You would have to be 'skeptical' that the water bottle or the bottle would be able to change colors.

You would have to have the ... 'skeptics' ... that the bottle would be able to have thermal changes based on the thermal energy that would travel through the bottle. But, that would be just one example.

But, we get the point right? It would have to be very important for scientist to have skepticism mainly because they are scientist, and they have to be patient with alot of things that they are doing. And therefore, that would be the answer to why it important for a scientist to be open-minded but skeptical.
