The first polynomial is
5a^2b+2a^2b^2

The other polynomial is
-ab^2+a^2b^2

Now to add polynomials we must add or subtract like terms

Adding them we have

(5a^2b+2a^2b^2)+(-ab^2+a^2b^2)

5a^2b+2a^2b^2-ab^2+a^2b^2

Here
2a^2b^2 $ and $ a^2b^2 $ are like terms $

So we add then

We get

5a^2b+3a^2b^2-ab^2

The addition of the polynomial is
5a^2b+3a^2b^2-ab^2
