we know that

average value = (sum of all values)/( number of those values)

we are given

During a track meet, Kelly throws the shotput 36 feet, 35 feet, and 37 feet.

so, first value is 36 feet

second value is 35 feet

third value is 37 feet

total number of values =3

Expression for average value:

Let's assume average value as A

so, we can plug these values in formula

A=(36+35+37)/(3)

Value:

now, we can simplify it

A=(108)/(3)

A=36

so, average length is 36 feet..........Answer
