There are three possible cases,

i.e. AQ + AO = QO

Case 2 : Q is between A and O,

i.e. AQ + QO = AO

i.e. AO + OQ = AQ

We have given,

AO = 10, AQ =15, and OQ = 5.

∵ AO + OQ = AQ
