Without calculation what is the approximate atomic mass of neon

You can’t do this without some calculation.

The easiest way is to argue that most atoms of neon have 10 protons and 10 neutrons.

Each proton and neutron has a mass of about 1 u, so the approximate atomic mass of neon is 20 u.
