674-392=282 so the answer would be 282 girls who participated

In an annual celebration, 674 students participated. There were 392 boys. That means the rest were girls. To find the amount of girls, all you have to do is subtract the amount of boys from the total amount students.


Total = 674 \\ Boys = 392

Subtract:


674 - 392 = 282

There were 282 girls
