You would replace the variables with 0, so to find the x-intercept y=0 and to find the y-intercept x=0

x intercept:
7x-2(0)=14
7x=14
Then, divide both sides by 7 which would give you x=2, so the x intercept written as a point would be (2,0) Teachers usually like it when you put it in point form since the intercepts a points on a graph

y intercept:
7(0)-2y=14
-2y=14
Divide both sides by -2
y=-7, so the y intercept in point form would be (0,-7)
