Volume of a cylinder = A(base)*height

Volume of a cone = 1/3*A(base)*height

Because the base and height of the cylinder and cone are the same, we can write

Volume of the cone = 1/3*Volume of the cylinder, so

Volume of the cylinder=3*Volume of the cone =3*258.9=776.6 cm³
