What does veto mean in the constitution?

Veto can mean to "reject a decision." This mainly happens in the process of creating laws and when the bill passes through the process to the president and the president doesn't agree with the bill so he VETO's and sends it back to the beginning of the process again which is the committee. So veto's means a right to reject a decision.

Veto is the power given by the constitution to the president, in which, if a president believes that the legislation trying to be passed is not worth the effort, or there is problems with the legislation, then they can use line-item veto, which takes out parts of the to-be law.
