Just to correct your paper, the options are not in slope-intercept form, but in *point-slope* form.

Anyways, remember that the slope formula is
`(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)` . Since we have the slope and one of the points, our equation is going to be
`(y-2)/(x+1)=-3`

For this, just multiply both sides by x+1 and your answer will be
`y-2=-3(x+1)`, or B.
