For (-2x)^6, it can also be seen as:
(-2)^6 × x^6
While (-2)^6 = (-2)×(-2)×(-2)×(-2)×(-2)×(-2) = 64
Therefore (-2x)^6 can also be put as 64x^6.
Hope it helps!
