Hello!

First of all, let's flip our equation, just for proper formatting.

(a-6)/(-10)=-1

First of all, let's multiply both sides of our equation by -10.

a-6=10

Now we add 6 to both sides.

a=16

I hope this helps!

a equals 16. You multiply both sides be -10 and then you add 6.
