Exponential functions, including this one, are defined for all x.

The value of an exponential function is always above zero. Thus, as x becomes increasingly small, 2^(x-3) approaches, but does not touch, zero.

Thus, the range of the given function is (5, infinity); the domain is (-inf., +inf.)
