Find the mean absolute deviation of the following numbers: 53, 39, 40, 42, 36, 58, 49, 55, 44, 51. i need help

\left|(53+39+40+42+36+58+49+55+44+51)/(10)\right|\\\\=\left|(467)/(10)\right|=|46.7|=46.7

Answer: 46.7

MAD:

first you add up all the values, next you divide by the number of values.

If the number results as a negitave number, use the absolute value.

add the numbers together 53, 39, 40, 42, 36, 58, 49, 55, 44, 51 = 467

then 467 divided 10 ( because there is 10 numbers together ) = 46.7
