The quadratic formula tells you that the solutions to

ax^2+bx+c=0

are given by

x=(-b\pm√(b^2-4ac))/(2a)

Filling in a=1, b=-4, c=5, this becomes

x=(-(-4)\pm√((-4)^2-4(1)(5)))/(2\cdot 1)\\\\x=(4\pm√(-4))/(2)\\\\x=2\pm i

The zeros are 2+i andd 2-i.
