You are building a tree house and bought plans online. However the plans are in metric unit and your tape measure only has feet. The plans say the base of the square tree house should be 3.5 meters. How many feet is that ? (round to the nearest hundredth)

Answer:

The answer is 11.48 feet.

Explanation:

The plans are in metric unit and your tape measure only has feet. The plans say the base of the square tree house should be 3.5 meters.

Now, we will convert 3.5 meters in feet.

1 meter = 3.281 feet

So, 3.5 meters will be =
3.281*3.5=11.48 feet

Therefore, the answer is 11.48 feet.
