Sam, Clara, Dylan, will all get 8 beads for their necklace. The leftovers will be 2 beads. This is how I did my work I divide 26 by 3 and got 8 and 2 remainders.

Answer: Number of beads each person will get = 8 and Number of beads they will be leftover=2 .

Explanation:

Given : Sam, Clara, Dylan are each making a necklace.

They divided 26 beads equally.

i.e. Total people are making necklace = 3

Number of beads = 26

When we divide 26 by 2, we get 8 as quotient and 3 as remainder .

[∵
3*8+2=26]

It means the number of beads each person will get = 8

Number of beads they will be leftover=2
