Explain how democracy evolved in Ancient Greece from earlier forms of government in Greece?

in most simplest form, democracy evolved in Ancient Greece from earlier forms of government in Greece because people in Greece think that their ruler is not doing as they promise (example: i will make Greece better ) and its was a harsh/cruel government so then they try to let the soldier or the army to over throw the ruler and then then slowly democracy is develop around the 5th century BCE.
