I'm assuming you want the equation of a line that cross these points; in that case we have the points :

(-2,0) and (0,5)

The equation of a line is y=mx+b where;

m=slope

and b= y-int

The slope can be found by doing (y(2)-y(1))/(x(2)-x(1)) ... (5-0)/(0--2)... 5/2

m= 5/2 and y-int=5

equation is: y=(5/2)x+5
