We will cancel inches to get ounces per second.

(72in)/(3 s)*(0.58oz)/(in)=13.92(oz)/(s)

Now, we invert our answer so we can multiply by 11,000 oz and cancel oz to get s.

(s)/(13.92oz)*11000oz=790.23s

Answer : The time taken for the tub to fill with 11000 ounces of water is, 790.23 seconds.

Explanation :

First we have to calculate the level of water in 'inch'.

As, 0.58 ounce of water fill the tub = 1 inch

So, 11000 ounce of water fill the tub =
(1inch)/(0.58ounce)* 11000ounce=18965.52inch

Now we have to time taken for the tub to fill the water.

As, 72 inch is fill with water in 3 seconds

So, 18965.52 inch is fill with water in
(3seconds)/(72inch)* 18965.52 inch=790.23seconds

Therefore, the time taken for the tub to fill with 11000 ounces of water is, 790.23 seconds.
