You are making some barbeque and 1 can feeds 5 people and you are having a total of 27 people over. You want everyone to come and eat so what should you do?

you need to find the ratio.

1 can : 5 people

you have 27 people

I have an answer but their would be extra cans.

6: 30

it means that six cans would feed 30 people.

if you need it exact cant help.

all I can say is that it has something to do with your ratio.

If I were making the barbeque, I would get 6 cans of food(which feeds 30 people). Because it would take 5.4 cans of food to feed exactly 27 people. In-case someone else unexpected shows up or someone eats more than expected, I would by 6 whole cans of food to be sure I have enough food for everyone :)

I hope my answer helped you Andrealynn0810pdhk6j! Let me know what you think!
