If 0.5 is greater than m, then m is less than 0.5, or m < 0.5

Place an open dot on 0.5, and shade to the left of the open dot.

The answer isn’t actually a number I can just tell you, I believe your teacher wants you to graph the inequality given. To do that, they want you to shade in a portion of the line that represents the value of m — to do this, you’ll shade in everything from the left of the bar separating 0 and 1.
