If exactly one integer (B) has a negative sign, the sign of the sum A + B will be negative if |B| > A. Otherwise it will be positive or zero.

___

If both signs are positive, the sum is positive. If both signs are negative, the sum is negative. If one value is zero, the sum is the other value.
