g(x)=5x^2+x-4

The zeros of the function

5x^2+ x-4 = 0

(5x - 4)(x + 1) = 0

5x - 4 = 0; x = 4/5 = 0.8

x + 1 = 0; x = -1

Answer

x = -1 , 0.8
