The population growth would be increasing because 6+5=11, then subtract the 3 that were killed leaving us with 8 deer. :D

(I'm not that good at these types of questions)

Answer: Population growth is decreasing

Step-by-step explanation:

In a population of species residing in a given location certain demographic factors such as birth, death, immigration and emigration affects the overall number of individuals in a population. The birth and immigration (when new individuals arrive in a non-native land) will add members in the population. Hence, growth of the population will increase. The death and emigration (when individuals move to another habitat) will decrease the number of members in the concerned population. Hence, growth of the population will decrease.

In the given situation,

The birth of six deer and immigration of one deer = (6+ 1= 7), increase the population growth.

The emigration of five deer and the death of three deer by predators = (5+ 3= 8), decrease the population growth.

On comparing the above equations the deer population will decrease (8>7).
