Explanation:

We know that to check any graph is a function or not , we draw any vertical line that intersects a graph .

If it intersects the graph more than once, then the graph does not define a function because it shows that x value has more than one output.

In the given graph , the y value of any point represents an individual output for a particular input x value. i.e. when we draw any vertical line that intersects the graph, it will not intersect the graph more than once.

Therefore, the graph represents a function.
