What kind of poem is this to you?

To the person I thought I knew

I was so in love with you
I really thought you loved me to
Then you told me about your other boo
My deepest fear became so true
You said you loved me but you love her to
I felt so betrayed and used
How could you do that to me
I always stayed true
I always told the truth
I would never cheat on you
So how could you hurt me
I told you my past
You knew I was delicate
You knew I was scared to try again
But you reassured me
You told me never to look back at my past
That you would never hurt me
So why did you get another boo
You told me that you would always be true
That you never lied only told the truth
But apparently none of this was true
I am sorry that I ever trusted you

Answer: This poem seems to focus on musicality, rhythm, and rhyming. Therefore, I could almost deduce that this is not a poem, but a rap based on the short lines and frequency of rhyming words. However, it is also a fair assessment to say that it is a spoken word poem.
