In 1845, we gained eastern Texas, which led to us gaining Coal

In 1846, we gained Washington state, Idaho, Oregon, and western Montana and Wyoming, leading to us getting gold, coal, and coal.

In 1848, we gained the western-half of Texas, Eastern New-Mexico, and parts of colorado, leading to us gaining, coal, oil, and gold.

In the later-half of 1848, we gained California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Western New-Mexico, western Colorado, south-west Wyoming, and we gained Gold, coal, and oil.

In 1853, we gained the Gadsen Purchase which gave us gold in Arizona and New Mexico, and Oil in New Mexico.
