We have to use the following theorem

An Angle formed by a chord and a tangent that intersect on a circle is half the measure of the intercepted arc .

And it is given that arc m BC = 89 degree.


\angle BCP = (1)/(2)( m BC)


\angle BCP = (1)/(2)( 89)=44.5

Correct option is A.
