Firstly, foil -2(2p + 4) and -3(2p-2):
10p+9-11-p=-4p-8-6p+6

Next, combine like terms:
9p-2=-10p-2

Next, add 2 on both sides:
9p=-10p

Next, add 10p on both sides:
19p=0

Next, divide both sides by 19, and your answer will be:
p=0
