Protons have a (+) charge, Electrons have a (-) charge, and neutrons have no charge. An example of an atom that has no charge -which is just a normal atom- is one that has 2 protons, 2 electrons, and 1 neutron.

An example of an atom that has no charge isn’t A because a has more protons than electrons therefore making it a ion with a net positive charge. B is incorrect for the same reason as A. C is the correct answer choice. Why? The protons and electrons are at equal numbers 2 and 2. None outbalanced the other making the atom neutral. The neutron has no affect because it is neutral.
