37.

7 < √(50) < 8

Because:

(√(50))^2=50\\\\7^2=49 < 50\\\\8^2=64 > 50\\\\49 < 50 < 64

Answer: 7 and 8.

We have two triangles and a square.

The formula of an area of a triangle:
A=(bh)/(2)

\triangle_1:\\b=6in,\ h=6in\\\\A_(\triangle_1)=(6\cdot6)/(2)=18\ in^2\\\\\triangle_2:\\b=6in,\ h=6in\\\\A_(\triangle_2)=(6\cdot6)/(2)=18\ in^2

The formula of an area of a square:
A=a^2

square:\\a=6in\\\\A_S=6^2=36\ in^2

The area of the figure:

A_F=A_(\triangle_1)+A_(\triangle_2)+A_S\\\\A_F=18+18+36=72\ in^2

Area of the square = s*s=6*6=36 inch^2
Area of the triangle =1/2*b*h=1/2*6*6=18inch^2
Area of second triangle =1/2*b*h=18inch^2
=> area of the given figure=36+18+18=72inch^2
