The longest side of an acute isosceles triangle is 8 cm round to the nearest 10th what is the smallest possible length of one of the two congruent sides

The sum of the 2 congruent sides cannot be 4 or less because you cannot draw such a triangle

- but as they are rounded to the nearest 10th its actual length might be 3.95 so the smallest possible length of one of the 2 congruent sides would be 4 cm.
