Since the hottest thing in like the whole universe is the sun, it can be that serious to us even thought it’s so far away.

The heat radiates through a vacuum and into our planet. Although the sun is million miles away but the heat in nuclear fusion (the process where the sun gets the heat from) is so hot that any human near venus will be liquified.
