-(-3-2)+(-5)

The “-“ the negative sign out the parentheses -( means that the negative is carried on to -3 and -2.
Basically, the negative (-) needs to be multiple ( x ) with the other numbers.
Ex.
-3 x - = 3
-2 x - = 2
A negative x a negative= a positive number (3+2)+(-5)
5+(-5)
0

The answer is 0

I hope this helped.

-(-3 - 2) + (-5)

First solve inside the parentheses.

-(-5) + (-5)

Note the double negative sign in the front changes the -5 to a positive 5. Now your equation is:

5 + (-5) which is the same as 5 - 5.

So your answer is 0.
