a = b(c)

Because you are solving for c, isolate the variable. Note the equal sign, what you do to one side, you do to the other

Divide b from both sides

(a)/b = (b(c)/b

a/b = c

c = a/b is your answer

hope this helps

a = b * c

Divide both sides by b.

a/b = c
