V=36\pi\ ft^3\\\\V=(4)/(3)\pi r^3\\\Downarrow\\\\(4)/(3)\pi r^3=36\pi\ \ \ |:\pi\\\\(4)/(3)r^3=36\ \ \ |\cdot3\\\\4r^3=108\ \ \ \ |:4\\\\r^3=27\to r=\sqrt[3]{27}\to r=3\ ft

Answer: The radius r = 3 ft.
