So, we know that exponentiation is really just repeated multiplication. That means for this problem, we can really just write this as:


(7*7*7*7*7*7)/(7*7*7*7)

We see that both the numerator and the denominator share 4 7s, which means we can cancel them out:


7*7*(7*7*7*7)/(7*7*7*7)=7*7=49

we have give given that
(7^6)/(7^4).

we need to simplify this.

we know that base and exponent rule.


(a^n)/(a^p) =a^(n-p).


(7^6)/(7^4) =7^(6-4)=7^2.

so
7^2=49 .
