The area of parallelogram is

$A=base\cdot height$ .

If base has length 9.9 in and height has length 5.5 in, then the area is
$A=9.9\cdot 5.5=54.45$ sq. in.

When base has length 11 in and height is unknown h, then
$A=11\cdot h$ .

Since the area is 54.45 sq. in., then

$54.45=11h,\\ \\ h=(54.45)/(11) =4.95$ in.

Answer: h=4.95 in.
