Explain the difference between a vertical angle, the vertical angle theorem and the proof for vertical angle theorem

Vertical angles are angles that are across each other

Vertical angle theorem is that all vertical angles are congruent.

You can do basic angle chasing, naming the angles x and the others y. 180-x=y and 360=2x+2y. Then x=x, proving they are vertical angles.
