Please help !!

1.If a line contains the point (0, -1) and has a slope of 2, then which of the following points also lies on the line?

(2, 1)
(1, 1)
(0, 1)

Hello!

The slope is the difference in the y-values divided by the difference in the x-values. For our first point, we get -1-1/ =-2, which is equal to 1, so it is not our slope.

For (1,1) we have -1-1/0-1, which is equal to two.

Therefore, our answer is
\boxed {B) (1,1)}
