C) Feld has difficulty imagining Sobel as his son-in-law

The First Seven Years is a short story published by Bernard Malamud that tells the story of a shoe maker who is seraching for a husband for his daugther. Later we discover that Sobel only reason to work there was to be close to Miriam, Feld´s daughter, he wanted to marry her but Sobel doesn´t want his daughter to be a Shoemaker´s wife.
