we are given

opposite=5√(2)

\theta=45

hypotenuse=c

now, we can use sine formula

sin(\theta)=(5√(2))/(c)

now, we can plug theta

sin(45)=(5√(2))/(c)

now, we can find c

c=(5√(2))/(sin(45))

c=(5√(2))/((√(2))/(2))

now, we can simplify it

c=(5*2*√(2))/(√(2))

c=10............Answer
